Banking and Real Estate Finance Solicitor

Venn Group is currently working with a Legal 500 law firm in London who are looking to recruit a banking and real estate finance solicitor for a maternity cover. The role involves corporate banking in a firm renowned for its commercially led advice with individuals and businesses throughout the UK. It will require a solicitor who is not only commercially astute, but who has extensive experience with banking and real estate finance.

The role will involve:
- A maternity cover contract
- Banking and real estate finance
- Corporate banking with high profile clients
- Investment and development in residential and commercial property
- Transactional work with individuals and corporate clients
- Working with onshore and offshore clients (private and retail banks)
- Working with borrowers including individuals, partnerships, funds and companies
- Day to day interaction with individual and corporate clients

The caseload will be mixed and therefore the individual must be able to handle varied responsibilities and duties within banking and real estate finance.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential:

• 6 – 9 years PQE
• Extensive banking and real estate finance experience
• Be comfortable using a case management system
• Must have the means to work to your own initiative and be comfortable meeting clients face to face
• Have the ability to work within a small team

Desirable:

• Worked as a banking and real estate finance solicitor within similar Legal 500 firms
• Private practice experience
• Foreign qualified candidates will be considered with relevant experience
