NQ Industrial Disease Solicitor

A newly qualified (NQ) Solicitor is wanted for a rewarding opportunity with a leading Defendant law firm in Birmingham. This role will suit an aspiring NQ or trainee who is looking to manage a high quality case load and gain some fantastic exposure to the industry. Salary for this role is a highly competitive NQ rate.

The Industrial Disease Solicitor will join the infamous Casualty team, and will deal with a variety of matters, primarily litigated and pre-litigated Disease claims as well as NIHL, HAVS, and COSHH. Those with experience in Asbestosis will also be considered for this role.
Day to day responsibilities will include working for a mixture of insurer and corporate clients which instruct the firm directly. In addition, the successful Industrial Disease Solicitor will handle a full range of EL/PL claims on behalf of the corporate clients. As part of the role, candidates will maintain and develop their technical knowledge through training sessions so this is a fantastic role which will certainly give career growth development!

It is key that the Industrial Disease Solicitor will not only have a keen interest in this practice area but also experience from their training contract. Preferred candidates will be at NQ level. A strong academic record and training from a reputable firm are also essential.
