Insurance Litigation - In House - City

OUR CLIENT

A market leader in the insurance industry has a new opportunity for a Solicitor 3- 5 PQE with an insurance/professional indemnity background to join an established specialist in house legal team.

THE ROLE

The post holder will be expected to work in a client facing role, handling a professional indemnity workload to include reviewing and managing claims, liaising with brokers, underwriters and external advisers.

As a member of the department, you will be expected to manage a varied and challenging workload advising on policy issues, claims, regulatory and legal developments in the insurance sector.

The work will also include advising on liability matters and risk management. As part of the role there will be an opportunity to handle training programmes, providing training in house and to clients.

THE CANDIDATE

For this exciting role, candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent technical and commercial skills and a genuine desire to work in a client facing role.

Applicants must have a solid academic record, coupled with an insurance / professional indemnity background preferably with claims handling experience.
