Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager required to join a public sector organisation based in Surrey for an initial 3 month period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager or Lawyer to join a small team within a public sector organisation. Applications are welcomed from experienced Contracts Lawyers or Paralegals who have a private practice, in-house, or public sector background.

Day to day work will involve ensuring that a wide range of agreements adhere to compliance with E.U contract regulations, protecting the Organisations interests with regard to those agreements. They will review, advise on and negotiate the agreements from initial discussions to approval for signature. Role will involve dealing with research contracts, NDAs, etc.

The successful Lawyer will negotiate contracts on behalf of the Organisation with third parties, included but not limited to;

● External lawyers
● National companies
● International companies
● Other public sector bodies
● HEI's

Delivering a quality service at all times is essential in this role, therefore the ideal Contracts Manager will need great client care skills. Due to the changing nature of the requirements, prioritisation is also a large part of the role, alongside working in a proactive and independent manner.

The office is really well located, situated within walking distance from shops and restaurants. The nearest train station offers links to London, making it easily commutable from the City.
