Our client, a global law firm, is recruiting a contentious construction lawyer to work in their Construction and Engineering Disputes Team. The Construction Team works across a range of sectors, including Infastructure, Construction and Transport both nationally and internationally. Due to an increased work flow, the team is expanding and looking for a Contentious Construction, Projects and Infrastructure Associate with at least one years' pqe.

The right Contentious Construction Candidate will handle claims by international arbitration, litigation, adjudication, expert determination or mediation for a diverse client base. The key focus of the role will be on domestic and international PFI/PPP disputes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contentious Construction Lawyer to gain top tier experience in all aspects of disputes avoidance, management and resolution of complex disputes in the PFI/PPP sector. The role will be based in the London office, but will require frequent travel to international offices as well.

Prior experience of Contentious PFI/PPP work would be a advantageous but our client would also welcome applications from candidates with Contentious Construction or Non Contentious Projects experience gained in a Common law jurisdiction, such as Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada or the UK.
