Senior Lawyer - e-commerce

The Company

My client are a well known fashion retailer with a large presence across the UK high street. They are a dynamic and innovative company with a large online presence.

The Role

As the Senior Legal Counsel you will be expected to work autonomously at times, whilst leading on high value negotiations with key clients. You will advise on a variety of matters including commercial, technology and outsourcing agreements. You can expect continued coaching and development throughout your career.

You remit will include, but not be limited to;

• Drafting and negotiating highly complex IT/Outsourcing contracts with software and services providers
• Daily interaction with the sales and IT teams, advising on commercial agreements.
• Advising senior stakes holders on compliance and risk
• Reviewing and implementing new policies, and provide training to other departments within the group.

You

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE and will have trained at a leading City firm. You will have a strong technology background, and a good working knowledge of data privacy and IP law. You will be confident leading on difficult negotiations, with the ability to easily build relationships both internally and externally. Candidates with retail/e-commerce experience will be highly regarded.
