Assistant Director- Regulator

We are working with a statutory regulator to find them an Assistant Director to lead their Fitness to Practise Department.  This role will suit a qualified Barrister or Solicitor with a track record in senior management, ideally within comparable governance structures or public facing stakeholder environments.

The successful applicant will lead a multidisciplinary team of around 100 people and manage a budget of £7 million.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the right skills and experience to be part of an innovative, collaborative leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be used to managing teams and budgets. Strong communication skills are essential; the post holder will have the credibility to promote key messages to a wide variety of external stakeholders.

The Assistant Director plays a key role in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness and ensures the highest standards are maintained to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of members of the public.
