The business are ideally seeking to hire a 1 year + PQE who has gained some post qualified experience at either a leading City or regional practice.
The role will include the following areas:

- VCT and EIS: Advising investors and, in some cases, individual shareholders on their qualifying investments. Structure and restructure of investments to ensure compliance.
- Real estate support: The business employs over 200 real estate solicitors. Part of the tax team role is to support those team members by advising on SDLT, LBTT, VAT, capital allowances and the CIS. Involvement in complex real estate project based tax issues.
- Employment incentives: The business frequently implements ESS and EMI schemes, both on a stand-alone basis and in the context of M&A and private equity deal structuring.

Ideally you would have gained at least 1 year post qualified experience at either a leading City or regional practice and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of a range of some or all of the above areas. Recently qualified solicitors with at least 6 months experience in Tax who could show good analytical/technical skills will also be considered.
