Contracts Lawyer required to join a local authority based in East London for an initial 3 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join a busy team within a well-established local authority.
This position will involve dealing with many contract-related matters, including but not limited to;
● Drafting bespoke agreements including contracts, deeds and access agreements
● Advising clients on acquisition strategy and tender issues
● Reviewing external commercial agreements and proposing amendments
Previous experience of working for a local authority would be desirable for this role, although not essential provided that a good knowledge of public sector contracts is held. Any experience of working with EU procurement would also be beneficial for the successful candidate.
The local authority are happy to accommodate the successful candidate with a level of flexibility around working hours if required. The office is easy to reach, located within walking distance from the nearest train station.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Kate Wilkinson in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
