The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for talented Barristers and Solicitor-Advocates to join a thriving Crown Court department in Milton Keynes. Hitting the ground running, the successful Barrister or Solicitor-Advocate will prepare and present cases at trial in all aspects of serious criminal defence work. Previous experience in serious drugs, sexual and violent offences would therefore be highly advantageous. Whilst this role will be predominantly based in one office, the ability to cover work elsewhere will be will be essential. The Candidate
You must be a practicing Barrister or qualified Solicitor/Advocate with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE;
You will have outstanding communication and client care skills;
You must be IT Literate;
Previous experience in serious drugs, sexual and violent offences is advantageous but not essential;
You will be a dedicated, confident advocate;
You will work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
