A Court of Protection Paralegal is required for an exciting opportunity to work in a leading specialist law firms in the UK. This role will be based in Sheffield and offers a competitive salary.

This opportunity is with a well-established niche law firm in the UK with a superb reputation who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and meeting all their client's needs.

Your focus in this role as Court of Protection Paralegal will be in the Court of Protection team in Sheffield. As part of this team you will be responsible for managing the affairs, assets and estates of anyone who does not have capacity to manage their own finances. This team has a strong well established reputation in dealing with wide variety of Court of Protection services including deputyship services, gifts, Enduring & Lasting Powers of Attorney and replacing deputyships with private trusts. The successful candidate can expect to tackle a wide variety of duties including clients, draft documents, progress the litigation process and attend court.

We are open to applications from candidates at all levels of educations with a minimum of 12 months paralegal experience working in clinical negligence, family or criminal law with a keen interest in this area of law who have case handling experience. It is important to us that you are team player with strong communication skills and an understanding of office procedures. We are looking for motivated individuals who adopt a pro-active approach and have the ability to work on your own initiative to manage time and achieve deadlines.
