ULR Paralegal 

We have a fantastic opportunity arisen for experienced ULR Paralegal due to continued company growth. My client has an impeccable reputation for Insurance Litigation and they have a current requirement for a ULR Claims Handler/Paralegal with a minimum of 12 months ULR experience to join their Motor Team.


Roles & Responsibilities
  • Be familiar with the small claims process in RTA claims.
  • Work alongside a team of Claimant Portal Handlers
  • Be able to negotiate settlement of credit repair, credit hire, and other uninsured losses 
  • Be competent at assessing liability and quantum
  • Knowledgeable on how to negotiate based on spot hire rates, and case law (Stevens v Equity)
  • Be competent to deal with up to 200 cases unassisted
  • Be competent at drafting Part 7 claim Forms and Particulars of Claims
  • Be competent at completing Directions Questionnaires, witness statements, briefs to counsel and trial bundles
  • Have experience in running a case from commencement through to small claims trial
  • Able to work to strict tasks and diary system
  • Assist team members to ensure team targets are achieved; 
  • Ensure clients are kept up to date and the firms SLA’s are adhered to;
  • Provide an exceptional service in accordance with the firm’s ethos.
