Commercial Lawyer

New opportunity for an NQ-3 year PQE lawyer to join this growing listed business.

This is a diverse role where you will form part of an established legal team and provide legal and transactional support to the Head of Legal and the wider business predominately in relation to commercial contracts. You will benefit from broad ranging role with real responsibilities, coupled with an opportunity to develop your legal skills.

This opportunity will comprise of the the following elements:

- Legal advice on all contractual matters

- Drafting a variety of commercial contracts including tc&cs, tenders and supply and services agreements

- Contract negotiations with customers and suppliers

- Providing advice on broader legal areas such as litigation, data protection, IP and IT matters (with the use of external lawyers where necessary)

- Liaising with external lawyers

Strong communication skills necessary to interact with senior colleagues and commercial teams within the business.

This role is ideal for a junior commercial lawyer who is looking to develop their legal skills in a blue chip business and established legal team. The successful candidate will have had good legal training and skills and an appetite to develop . Any experience of dealing with commercial contracts would be a bonus but is not necessary. Any knowledge of the retail industry would also be helpful but is not essential.
