Commercial Lawyer

Our client is a leading, multinational business operating in the financial services sector. To support the growth of the business, their established legal team are looking to recruit an additional commercial lawyer to join their East Midlands based team.

This role can offer a diverse and interesting range of commercial work and is an ideal role for a lawyer who likes working closely with business colleagues. Some of the responsibilities for this individual will include:

- Acting on behalf of the organisation to negotiate commercial contracts and agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Reviewing and advising on the legal consequences and risks associated with design and marketing of new products.
- Working with the global legal department on corporate and finance transactions.
- Creating and maintaining template legal documentation to assist the business efficiently.

We are keen to hear from commercial lawyers who have 1-4 years PQE and are either currently working in private practice or another in-house organisation, ideally in the financial services sector. Commercial lawyers who have gained consumer credit or financial services regulation experience will be highly desirable.
