Our client is a US law firm with an elite global presence and a top-tier M&A/PE practice in Hong Kong.
The firm has dominated the legal market over the past 4 years since its arrival in Hong Kong. Following a string of successful lateral partner hires, the firm is now a powerhouse within the field of M&A.
They are in the market for a Newly-qualified lawyer to support their existing team. The practice focuses primarily on public M&A (listed company takeovers), representing the sponsor and corporates in cross-border deals.
Leading remuneration in the market; cravath rates + COLA for US qualified lawyers.
Role requirements:
- Newly-qualified-1 year experienced lawyers
- US (Preferred), UK, HK, AUS are preferred, others will be considered.
- English and Mandarin fluent in both – for exceptional lawyers, English only may be considered.
- US JD from a top law school Or 2:1 minimum from a top university from HK, AUS or UK.
- M&A experience throughout training contract is essential. Some understanding of the HK listing rules would also be advantageous.
