Top Tier M&A Practice – 3-6 PQE Lawyer – Top Wall Street Firm – HK

Our client, a top-tier Wall Street firm, highly renowned for its HK M&A practice, are in the market for a mid-senior level lawyer for its HK M&A practice. This is a great opportunity to be part of a top-tier practice and under a prestigious partner with a role focused on HK M&A with minor work in general corporate and capital markets.

The role will be focused on HK M&A transactions (PE, JV, Private, and Public) with a small amount of work in general corporate and capital markets.. You will be working with top blue-chip clients in Hong Kong, China, and New York including leading international investment banks, Hong Kong-listed companies, large conglomerates, and corporates across the APAC region. This is a premiere position with a growing practice – the work flow is steady and the firm needs top candidate to contribute to the team. Remuneration packages will be top Cravath rates + competitive bonus.

Role requirements:

• 3-6 PQE.
• Common law (UK/HK/SG/AUS/etc.) qualification is necessary.
• Native in Chinese (Mandarin), fluency in English.
• Top-tier firm history.
• JD from top Law School is best, exceptional LLBs and/or LLMs are satisfactory.
• Must have previous experience in cross-border M&A transactions.
