Our client acts for clients in traditional and emerging markets, and are at the forefront of new developments in law and business.

They recruit lawyers from a wide range of backgrounds. Many of their legal recruits have worked with firms overseas, with large corporations or in government agencies.

They are looking for a 5+ PQE senior corporate associate to join their Hong Kong office.

As an experienced Associate, you will have the opportunity to build a successful career in an achievement orientated yet supportive environment. You may be working in a similar commercial law firm, and enjoy the challenge of taking on some matters autonomously, seeking guidance and support as required.

A successful candidate must have strong experience in Initial Public Offerings, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and other advisory experience. 

Excellent analytical and communication skills are required, as well as, English and Chinese. The ability to produce commercially astute advice is required to effectively support client's needs in this role.

You must have

  • at least 5 years or above post-qualification experience
  • ability to build client relationships
  • strong fluency in English (spoken; reading and writing is essential)
  • ability to work effectively with partners and juniors in the team
  • fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese
  • solid Mergers & Acquisitions related work and private equity investments experience, general corporate experience
