This is a brand new opportunity which has been created in response to substantial growth and success. Our client is a leading name and brand in the TV world with massive presence here and on an international level.

The legal team is substantial, thriving and immensely proud of its excellent staff retention and super reputation within the wider business. Its success is in part due to an established and inspirational leadership team, a nurturing and vibrant culture and the immense success and growth of the wider business.

Our client requires a qualified lawyer with upwards of 8 years PQE.  It is essential to have extensive experience of drafting and negotiating all agreements that arise in the context of scripted production with writers, relating to location, merchandising and ancillary rights.

Naturally the successful candidate will have strong TV Production experience gained in-house or with a leading firm.  Essential is in-depth knowledge of scripted production, commissioning, acquisition, funding, talent management and relevant regulation.

This is a strategic role which reports to the GC and sits with key creative directors. A robust business minded, commercial character is needed to deliver on what will be a highly rewarding but also challenging brief.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours. However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.

If you have not heard from us within a 48 hour timeframe your application has not been successful and your details have not been retained. LAW Absolute acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
