In-House Paralegal - Financial Services

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate/Banking Paralegal to join a US Investment Bank/Asset Manager in London.

The successful Paralegal will be working as part of a small in house legal team across the buy and sell sides of the business on NDAs (drafting and negotiating), a range of Fixed Income trade documentation, settlement agreements, reviewing and drafting a range of commercial contracts (e.g. novations, service agreements, vendor contracts, deed of amendments) and providing general legal support to the Lawyers.

This In-House Paralegal role would really suit an LPC graduate with at least 6 months’ M&A or banking experience from a top City/US firm who is ultimately looking to secure a training contract and would like to gain Financial Services experience in the interim.

Day-to-day you’ll be working closely with the trading and sales teams, HR and research teams and will be responsible for your own stakeholders and clients, internally and externally. You’ll also be encouraged to contribute to change, problem solving and issue management, so this is a great opportunity to add value.

This is a great opportunity for a Paralegal with 6 - 12 months’ corporate, banking or finance experience from Private Practice to move into an extremely hands-on, broad role within Financial Services.
