Finance Paralegal - Magic Circle

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Future Trainee to join a Magic Circle law firm on a 12 month contract.

The successful Finance Paralegal can look forward to working closely with fee earners and Professional Support Lawyers in one of the firm’s Banking and Financing teams. The Finance practice is divided into three groups and you will be working across the department, giving the chance to see a wide range of transactions and working styles in action.

The Finance Paralegal will work to conduct legal research for a Professional Support Lawyer, gathering know-how and precedents from fee-earners, and adding these to the firm’s know-how system, along with preparing the weekly newsletter for the Banking & Finance group. You will also have responsibility for responding to know-how queries from fee earners, updating the Banking intranet and supporting the Professional Support Lawyers with conferences, training and publications.

The ideal Finance Paralegal will be a 2018 Future Trainee who is keen to secure a 12 month contract at a Magic Circle firm whilst maintaining a good work life balance! The LPC is not a pre-requisite, so this role would really suit a Future Trainee who is due to commencing the LPC in 2018.
