Corporate Solicitor

A rare opportunity to join an International law firm based in Bristol seeking to expand their highly regarded Corporate practice. The firm are looking to hire a recently qualified Corporate Associate ideally with experience across M&A and private equity.

About the Corporate Solicitor role:

You will be working with some extremely well-respected Partners, nationally and internationally. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team environment with exposure to mainstream M&A but also PLC instructions and overseas work.

The Corporate team in Bristol has a large and diverse client base. The team advise:

• UK and international public and private companies, including numerous FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 companies
• financial institutions
• private equity
• venture capital firms

The team is consistently recognised among the top ranked M&A practices.

There will be early responsibility for running matters, building client relationships and business development. Experience in good mainstream M & A and either private equity or public company experience, preferably having acted for both corporate and institutional clients is desirable.

You will be a UK qualified Corporate solicitor (or overseas equivalent) from a top regional, national or international law firm with experience in corporate law and may have a minimum of six months experience gained during a training contract but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role. The role will suit an outgoing person with a commercial attitude along with a confident and proactive approach, with good people skills and the ability to work as a team player.
