Data Protection & Privacy PSL - 12 month FTC

Commencing from March 2017, a position for a Data Protection & Privacy PSL has arisen to cover a period of maternity leave on a 12 month fixed term contract. Working as part of a highly regarded, busy team you will play an integral role in supporting the Partners and Associates providing specialist knowledge across a range of matters concerning their international client base. This role is offered on either a full time or part time (min 3 day per week) basis.

In this broad role you will be responsible for:

- supporting the firm's DP activities across all practices

- keeping up to date with legal developments that affect the DP&P practice

- maintaining, drafting and providing comment to standard documentation

- assisting on firm wide and international knowledge projects

- designing and delivering relevant training to internal stakeholders

- writing of articles for journals, newsletters and departmental brochures

To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced lawyer with extensive experience and demonstratable knowledge of current data protection matters and how that relates to client requirements. You will have an excellent academic record, a high level of professionalism and the ability to work effectively within a collegiate, co-operative work environment.
