Funds Lawyer - Product Structuring

Our client, a global leader in investment management requires a proactive, diligent and ambitious Funds Lawyer within their funds structuring business team. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a diverse range of funds throughout the EMEA region and you will be involved in all aspects of; the design of specific ideas, project management of funds launches, product structuring, maintenance of fund documentation, restructurings, fund range and business analysis.

The primary responsibilities of this funds lawyer will include but not limited to;

• Advising the sales, portfolio management, strategy teams and wider business on the most appropriate product structures and solutions for pooled products.
• Managing the production of fund offering documentation (including drafting, managing multiple stakeholder amendments and comments, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations)
• Managing the regulatory process for fund creation and amendment
• Partnering with stakeholders within the products structuring internally and with other teams within the business (such as client facing teams, portfolio management, operational teams) to implement the product strategy, development and change agenda.

The successful candidate;

• 1-4 PQE* in Funds/Asset Management (this can be from either private practice or in-house)
• Previous experience in advising on funds structures or distribution for the UK or Swiss domiciled funds
• Great understanding of a broad range of financial instruments, asset classes, investment strategies and AIFMD
