Contentious Probate Solicitor

Legal 500 Regional firm seeks a Contentious Probate solicitor to join it's established practice on the South Coast.

Due to expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a solicitor with experience in this field to join the existing specialist team.

Ideally you will be a qualified solicitor of 4 years plus PQE and have developed a proven track record in this area. You will joining a team with a high reputation for private client services including property, trusts, personal tax and wills and probate. The team has also developed a niche contentious probate expertise dealing with wills disputes, probate actions, capacity issues, abuse of LPA and inheritance act claims The team work closely with the highly rated Court of Protection Team providing litigation support on mental capacity issues.

As a member of this established team, there will be the opportunity to offer ADR options to clients through mediation and collaborative law.

Our client is interested in hearing from either someone who is currently an assistant solicitor or an associate.

ACTAPS accreditation is highly desirable although the opportunity to undertake accreditation is available.

In addition to being a team player, you will have effective communication skills both verbal and written and an ability to work well under pressure. A high level of client contact is a fundamental part of this role and you will have worked with mid to high net worth clients.
