Corporate/Funds Legal Counsel – Asset Management PART TIME

Our client an asset manager with $2Bn AUM is seeking a legal counsel to join the business supporting the existing GC. The role will be varied with an initial primary focus on supporting with the commercial legal matters within the business and ensuring the regulatory compliance of the firm. It is envisaged this role will be 3/4 days per week, one of which could be from home.

The Role:

The primary responsibilities of the Legal Counsel will include;

• Supporting the review and negotiation of all commercial legal documentation to include commercial contracts, terms of business, NDAs, confidentiality agreements etc.
• Work with the Head of Legal on all new fund launches and managed accounts
• Monitoring and reporting on regulatory change that will impact the business
• Assist with compliance monitoring including liaison with external compliance consultants

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

• 1-3* years PQE+ as a Corporate or Funds lawyer gained either within Private Practice or In-house
