Our client is a full-service asset manager, offering a varied range of products and services seeking a funds lawyer to join their small legal team working directly with the business.
The role:
This varied role will include;
- Structuring bespoke fund products including establishing private equity and debt funds
- Working with the portfolio managers, distribution team, deal originators, product managers, and execution teams
- Provide advice in support of the UCITs platforms
- Management and negotiation with fund distributors and international clients
The candidate:
The successful candidate will have;
- 2 years PQE+ experience as a funds lawyer within private practice or in-house with an asset manager
- Experience with establishing funds (in particular private equity and debt funds) and advising on UCITS funds
- Good knowledge of EU regulations relevant to asset management
