A unique opportunity has arisen to join a top tier international commercial law firm as their Head of Risk, based in their Bristol office.
This is a senior level role and the successful candidate will work with senior stakeholders throughout the firm to ascertain risk management issues and take full responsibility for developing and implementing the firm’s broad risk management strategy.
The Head of Risk will sit on the executive board and will therefore play an integral role in contributing to the development of the firm and best practice.
The Head of Risk will have extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework impacting a law firm in the UK, including a thorough understanding of the SRA regulations, AML, DPA and UK Bribery Act. A good understanding of the FCA regulations would also prove helpful.
The Head of Risk should also have strong management skills as he/she will be leading a team of highly professional and dedicated compliance analysts.
