THE FIRM
Our client is a highly respected off-shore law firm specialising in financial matters relating to trusts and investments and aspects of corporate work including insolvency and restructuring. The firm continues to grow and is now recruiting for a lawyer to join the team based in the Cayman Islands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with a solid background in corporate finance work and who is ultra-bright, super-ambitious and looking for a more challenging role. The firm has other offices located in stunning locations around the globe and clients include governments, international corporations, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
THE ROLE
The firm is looking for a lawyer currently working at Magic Circle level or the equivalent, with at least three years’ experience in a similar role. The firm would consider candidates more than five years’ PQE if they bring some additional benefit to the firm such an area of specialisation or a substantial following of clients. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a 3 – 5 years’ PQE solicitor or a similarly-experienced barrister - the firm would consider a more experienced candidate who can bring a following or offers relevant area of specialism;
Have an excellent academic background, attaining at least a 2:1 at first degree;
Have substantial experience working within a leading firm or set of Chambers;
Be confident in dealing with clients from all walks of life;
Ideally, be fluent in a second language;
Have a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
