The Firm
A Legal 500 Lexcel accredited firm are offering an exciting opportunity to join its successful, multi-office practice based in Bedford. The firm has an excellent reputation for delivering a high quality of service and has an impressive client base. They are looking for a Private Client Lawyer with a passion for client care to join their growing team.
The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit a Private Client Lawyer for their established Bedfordshire office. Working alongside the existing Partners, the role will provide an interesting and varied caseload of private client matters including drafting of wills and settlements, administration of estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate planning, Court of Protection work and Deeds of Variation. The position will involve business development. The successful Private Client Lawyer will receive an excellent remunerations package with benefits and a bonus scheme.
The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
You must have solid experience in private client matters.
You must have at least 3 years’ PQE.
It would be advantageous to have full STEP membership.
You will have knowledge of Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax as well as Inheritance Tax Rules.
You will have a proven track record of business development.
You will have excellent IT and file management skills.
It would be advantageous to have experience of Probate Software.
