German Speaking Commercial / Competition Associate

Our client, a leading litigation law firm, are seeking a German speaking commercial associate to join their competition department. 

Candidates will have a breadth of general commercial litigation experience with some recent experience of competition litigation helpful but not a prerequisite.  

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist in running a number of cases involving claims for damages resulting from infringements of competition law in both the High Court and the CAT;
• Dealing with claims at the pre-litigation stage including preparing claim forms and particulars and engaging in pre-action protocol and settlement dialogues.

Candidates will have proven experience of running cases and litigation day to day as well as excellent knowledge of the CPR and experience in the key stages of litigation.

Candidates must possess German language skills to a native level.
