Our client is a leading international law firm who are seeking to appoint a shipping lawyer to join their office in Italy. The firm are legal 500 recognised and are known for their dry/wet shipping experience as well as their financial and dispute resolution knowledge. Their clients include Forbes listed companies regional and worldwide in addition to the firm being noticed on multiple firm ranking websites.
You will work closely with high profile members from within the shipping community and will have the opportunity to take a lead of a number of high value and complex shipping disputes with clients including; P&I clubs, H&M underwriters, ship owners, operators and managers, charterers, commodity traders, oil majors, freight forwarders and shipyards. You will need experience in insurance relating to marine and cargo claims, charter party disputes; ship arrest and release; reinsurance; cargo claims and recoveries.
