In-house Counsel

One of the world's oldest European merchant banks seeks a legal counsel for their London office. You will be one of two legal counsel covering all business areas in London including institutional brokerage, equities research, ECM transactions (both main listings and AIM), fixed income sales & trading, wealth management and private banking. Some experience in corporate finance transactions and ECM/ securities transactions is required. An ECM or securities lawyer in private practice looking for a broader in-house role would be ideal, likewise a lawyer potentially in a large in-house investment bank legal team looking for a more strategic role in a smaller bank environment would work well. Exposure to wealth management and MiFID II is a bonus.
