If you have experience in international civil service law and institutional law and have previous experience working in a legal function in an international environment then Europe’s Meteorological Satellite Agency (EUMETSAT) would love to hear from you!

This is a varied and rewarding role reporting directly to the Head of the Division. Amongst other key tasks you will participate in the drafting and negotiating of legal arrangements with international partners of EUMETSAT.

Along with a University degree, preferably with a qualification or specialisation in Labour Law, European Law or Public International Law, you shall ideally have skills/experience in each of the following areas:  

•    Proven experience in the area of international civil service law and institutional law;, extensive experience of working in a legal function in an international organisation;
•    Ability to draft legal opinions and documentation, while demonstrating resilience, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise a heavy workload;
•    Experience in using information technology and office software systems is required;
•    Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to communicate with many different organisational interfaces.

All applicants must be EUMETSAT member state nationals with a good working knowledge of the English language, with proven drafting ability. Fluency in French would be considered a strong asset.
