This is an opportunity with an established high street law firm based in a Birmingham suburb. Due to an increase in workload, the firm is looking to recruit a Property solicitor.

The firm is a high street practice but offers a full service to both business and individual clients. The practice is small and as a result it has a great culture and the teams are very close knit. It has a low turnover of staff and most solicitors that join tend to stay.

This role will suit a property solicitor who perhaps lives outside of Birmingham city centre and is not looking to work in the centre. Most of the solicitors at the firm work locally and the flexible approach of the firm to things such as childcare means that this works well for them.

The firm can offer you:

• The chance to work within a small team of around 3 fee earners, advising on a purely commercial property caseload
• Flexible approach to working - they don't work long hours here and can accommodate childcare arrangements
• Good quality work - the firm act for commercial businesses and have a lot of repeat instructions
• Working in a collegiate atmosphere - the firm is full service and the teams work closely with each other

Profile

The firm is open to the level of experience of the property solicitor. You could be newly-qualified lawyer looking for that first qualified lawyer or an established property lawyer looking for a new home.

Ideally you will have solid commercial property experience, although the firm is willing to look at excellent lawyers whose focus is more on the residential side of things but would like to switch into a more commercial role.
