This international firm enjoys a leading reputation in the market and is looking for an Associate to join their standalone team based in Bristol. As well as having an excellent reputation for the quality of Information, Communications & Technology work that it takes on, this firm is also globally recognised for its success in the legal sector and providing high quality legal advice.

Your new role
The ICT practice group forms part of the wider Corporate & Commercial Group, with clients representing some of the most well-known brands in their key sectors, on the full range of technology and sourcing transactions. They also provide related advisory services (such as data protection). You will be joining a standalone team (rather than forming part of the Corporate team) which has a strong track record of maintaining and growing its own client base. It works closely with most other groups in the firm (e.g. on corporate transactions) but most of the work within the group is self-generated. You will be working on both high volume and high profile cases; this role is based in Bristol but will be supporting the wider UK business, including its office in London. You will work and communicate with well-practiced Partners and Associates across the UK who are leaders in their fields. You will be required to travel to London and internationally on occasion.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be an NQ - 2 PQE lawyer and have had some previous experience in handling commercial contracts, along with some experience in handling some ICT transactional work either during your training contract or since qualifying within a credible practice. Experience in advisory work would be welcome and you will have achieved excellent academics and possess a strong client focus.
