Securities Services Lawyer, 4+ PQE

This leading global investment bank is currently seeking a mid level lawyer to join their legal department based in London.

You will work closely with the Bank's global custody, fund administration and depository services businesses throughout the lifecycle of a deal, primarily in relation to contractual matters. You will review legal opinions across various jurisdictions to mitigate legal risk, as well as advise on and implement new regulatory initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegiate team and requires someone with strong communication skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships quickly. Candidates should have at least 4 years PQE and a legal background in custody, funds or depository services. Previous in-house experience at a global financial institution would be helpful, together with knowledge of custody and market infrastructure arrangements and the applicable local and EU legislation and regulation.  Knowledge of CASS, AIFMD, UCITS, MIFID I & II or the desire to acquire it would be an advantage.
