An internationally leading investment bank are looking to hire a General Banking Lawyer to join their team for four months, in the City of London.
About the role
The General Banking Lawyer will provide support to the business's retail investment services offerings across wealth and investments in relation to launching, changing, remediating or closing investment services such as custody of investments, execution of investment trades, advisory services and discretionary services.
A large scope of work will involve covering the offerings of new products, product maintenance/distribution, strategic business, regulatory changes and governance matters.
The role will also include:
- assisting with recommending
- implementing new legislation and regulatory requirements, such as structural reform and MiFID II
About you
The successful General Banking Lawyer will have extensive financial services experience of working in investment services and regulatory change. Broader experience of working in wealth management is also desirable. Although applicants of all levels will be considered on merit, a minimum of 4 years PQE would be favourable.
