In House Counsel / Alternative Funds Lawyer, 2- 6 year PQE, London

Our client, a leading asset management firm is looking to recruit an alternative funds lawyer to provide legal support in the EMEA region including a broad range of drafting, advising on the distribution, maintenance and establishment of a variety of funds.

As In House Counsel / Lawyer the role will include:
The role will de reporting into the Head of Legal and working alongside the business to provide practical legal advice.

• Draft, negotiate and provide contract advice on legal and regulatory parameters for European product launches
• Advise and develop knowledge of legal and regulatory issues concerning the establishment and distribution of relevant funds within EMEA
• Manage and minimalise legal risk
• Liaise with legal counsel and deputise for the Head of Legal
• Report to the boards of relevant fund companies

The Candidate:

• The successful candidate will be 2-6 year PQE*
• Previous experience with Alternative Funds essential
• Worked previously in house within the financial sector or within a private practice firm as an alternative funds lawyer

As company secretary of the London office which is centrally located and just 1 minute walk from the closest underground station.
