Legal Counsel - Software

The Company

I am working with a global B2B software & cloud service provider who are seeking an experienced Technology Lawyer to join their small but highly skilled team based in Berkshire. The company are at the cutting edge of software solutions and have an innovative new product launching this year.

The Role

As the Commercial Counsel you will lead on complex negotiations, predominantly license agreements, SaaS and Cloud solutions.

Your remit will include but not be limited to;

• Drafting commercial agreements including IT/Technology contracts, marketing & sponsorship agreements and procurement contracts.
• Providing advice on privacy and data-transfers and the implications of new product offerings.
• Supporting the sales and marketing teams, advising them on changes to legislations and the impact these will have.
• Providing guidance and support on various new compliance reporting/data tracking requirements and revisions to internal codes of conduct.
• Delivering training to clients on various legal & compliance topics.

You

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE. You will extensive commercial experience, gained at a leading firm or in-house group. You will have extensive experience within software, and have a good understanding of the challenges within this sector. You will be a confident, proactive person, with a big personality and the ability to work autonomously when required.
