Childcare Lawyer

Childcare Lawyer required to join a Local Authority based in the East Midlands for an initial period of 3 months.

Our client is seeking an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join their supportive and friendly team on a full-time locum basis.

The ideal candidate will be either a qualified solicitor or barrister and will prior have experience of dealing with a busy caseload of childcare matters.

Experience of conducting advocacy is essential, with the successful candidate required to represent at both contested and non-contested hearings.

Prior experience working within Local Government is preferable, although experienced Childcare Lawyers from a private practice background are also encouraged to apply.

A driving license and own transport would be helpful, as the successful candidates will be required to attend court across the county.

The Local Authority is conveniently located, with the office easily accessible from South Yorkshire or the Midlands.
