Fee Earner/Technical Advisor – Technical Team

My client, a leading Newcastle-based company in the claims management industry, is currently seeking to employ a Fee Earner/Technical Advisor as part of its technical team. The ideal candidate will have between 0-2 years’ PQE.

In recent years, this firm has broadened its focus, and now specialises in accidents in the public place and at work, along with road traffic accidents (RTAs).

The company is a member of the Law Society, the Personal Injury Panel, and the Motor Accidents Solicitors Society. This ensures a client service based on confidence and trust. What the client is looking for:

• Applicants will have proven experience of dealing with their own caseload, along with exposure to RTA/Personal Injury (PI) matters in a previous role
• A minimum of 18 months’ solid claimant litigation experience within RTA
• Hardworking, enthusiastic, and confident litigators
• Someone who works well in a team
• Knowledge and understanding of the principles of PI claims and the CPR
• Experience of running a litigated PI caseload desirable
• Ideally, a background in credit hire
• A commitment to professional development
• Knowledge of case management systems and excellent IT skills
• A co-operative, flexible approach with a team ethos
• Great organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work to targets
• Commitment, drive, and interpersonal skills

The ideal solicitor in Newcastle will have the equivalent of 0-2 years’ PQE, working as a fee earner, legal executive, or an experienced file handler with previous RTA litigation experience. You will use your expertise to provide technical legal guidance and advice on a range of complex PI files, in order to support other fee earners within your team and senior management.
