In-house Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate / Commercial Solicitor to join the close-knit legal team of this UK based organisation providing a variety of services to the Financial Services industry. The role would be perfect for someone around 3 - 6 years PQE with broad Commercial Contracts and Corporate Governance experience. Salary is flexible and dependent on individual experience.

The business works with a number of well known Financial Services and Fintech businesses across the UK and further afield. Their In-house legal team provides comprehensive legal advice to the internal business and, on occasion, some of their external clients. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the succesful Corporate / Commercial Solicitor will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (licensing agreements, services agreements, outsourcing agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc), advising on EU and UK competition law, advising on Data Protection, and managing an IP portfolio. The role will also involve drafting and negotiating on a number of corporate documents and advising on corporate governance.

We'd like to speak to Corporate / Commercial Solicitors, of around 3 - 6 years PQE, who are used to working in a fast paced environment and working in an autonomous, unsupervised position, either In-house or in Private Practice. Candidates will be confident communicators and will ideally have some knowledge of the payments / financial services industry.
