This top City law firm is seeking to hire an experienced and ambitious IT Trainer to provide deliver high quality classroom and one to one training to staff of all levels and to actively promote the use of IT software across the firm.
Reporting to the IT Director and working closely with all Business Support Managers, you will provide training support to the London and regional offices.
Duties include;
- Conducting classroom and one to one training sessions
- Training and support on all aspects of software and supported equipment
- Promoting IT software by means of demonstrations and floor walking
- Creating high quality supporting courseware including workbooks, manuals, quick reference guides
- Ensuring good practice is adhered to consistently for all IT training solutions
- Maintaining accurate training records
- Provide back-up support to the IT Helpdesk
- Participate actively in meetings as appropriate
- Testing and review of newly acquired and potential software
- Assist in assessing user requirements and work processes and tailoring training courses for practical adoption
- Other training related activities as required
Technical Skills;
- Microsoft Office suite 2010
- Strong knowledge Worksite and other Document Management Systems
- Bighand Digital Dictation and Speech Recognition
- Legal specific applications such as Carpe Diem, InterAction and Laserforms
- Experience of supporting and training mobile devices including Blackberry, iPhone and iPad
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing IT training in a legal environment ideally, however would possibly look at an experienced IT Trainer who has worked for a large corporate company.
