Derivatives Lawyer, 2 -6 PQE

A reputable FTSE 100 is seeking a 2-6 PQE In House Counsel / Lawyer with experience in Derivatives law for a transactional and product advisory role.

The Role:

This In House Counsel / Lawyer role will be reporting into the Head of Legal and the responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation for OTC equity derivatives in conjunction with some fixed income (including credit) derivatives
• Providing detailed advice and support for the front office during structuring and developments of such transactions
• Providing practical advice on legal and regulatory issues relating to the respective transactions

The Candidate:

• The ideal candidate will be a 2-6 years' PQE* from private practice or worked In House in another financial institution
• Derivatives experience essential
• Familiarity with regulations affecting derivatives transactions (e.g. EMIR, MiFID etc ) will be desirable but not essential
