The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and dedicated Mental Health Solicitor to join our clients’ well-regarded practice in the heart of the capital. Managing a varied caseload, acting for individuals detained under the Mental Health Act and in the community, the successful Solicitor will undertake advocacy at all hearings, with First Tier Tribunal, Hospital Managers hearings and CPA meetings experience being essential. The ideal Solicitor will attend clients across London and further afield and also gain experience in handling Court of Protection applications and Upper Tier Tribunal matters.
The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with applications welcomed from NQ plus.
You must have solid Mental Health experience including representing clients at First Tier and Hospital Managers hearings.
You will have excellent academics with a 2:1 at degree level.
Mental Health Panel Membership would be highly advantageous.
Additional expertise in Upper Tier hearings, unlawful detention and Court of Protection applications is desirable but not essential for the position.
You will be committed, confident and client-focused.
