SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL 3+ PQE

Your new company
This award winning, FTSE 100 Company based in Bristol are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their in house legal team.

Your new role
You will work on a range of matters, including advising on relevant legal requirements and consumer lending deposit services, drafting and reviewing relevant documents and agreements and largely assisting with the launch of a new department within the company. You will be reviewing financial promotions and working with the business to ensure the business is legally protected, as well as assisting with legal queries from the business.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within Retail Consumer Credit and Banking law and a good understanding of UK contract law is essential for this position. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and to work closely with the business teams, as well as liaise with third parties. You will have strong financial promotions experience, the ability to review and negotiate deposit, lending and other commercial contracts and a good level of product knowledge in addition to excellent attention to detail. Financial services regulatory knowledge and experience of working with regulators and trade bodies in relevant areas.
