THE ROLE
A need has arisen to recruit an experienced legal counsel in order to support the French business near Paris, with a focus on marketing & sales. The successful candidate will also be required to handle legal proceedings in court relating to claims from dealers, repairers, suppliers, and contractors. He/she will be able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines, and will be able to settle disputes efficiently. Success in this role will involve working proactively and with accountability in order to preserve the interests of the company whilst bringing weight and visibility to the legal function.
PROFILE SOUGHT
The successful candidate will be French qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience dispensing legal advice relevant to the matters described above. He/she will have the ability to find creative solutions to legal issues and provide recommendations, as well as demonstrate strong negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be an active team worker, and capable to align with the legal staff in Europe when required. Fluency in English is essential.
