Construction Solicitor

I am working with a Top 100 law firm that is based in Manchester’s city centre, which is currently looking for a Construction Solicitor to come and join its growing team.

My client is searching for a solicitor who will be able to run their own caseload and can proactively develop new business for the department. This law firm is happy to hear from construction solicitors in Manchester who are newly qualified, as well as those that have over eight years’ PQE.

The role being advertised is a new position within the company, which has been created due to steady growth and an influx of work from new and existing clients. Candidates that have followings are preferred, however, this is not essential.

Main duties

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Dealing with construction matters on both contentious and non-contentious cases
• Generating and developing new business
• Servicing new and existing clients on a daily basis
• Updating the case management systems
• Ensuring that all parties are kept up to date at all times

In order to succeed within this construction solicitor role, you will need to possess:

• Exceptional file management skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Solid attention to detail to ensure complete efficiency
