Duty Solicitor - Higher Rights

A Legal 500 listed national practice wishes to recruit an Accredited Criminal Duty Solicitor to join its busy team at the firms' office in Evesham.

The practice specialises in a broad number of practice areas to include crime, commercial, finance, property and general litigation to name but a few and has over 20 offices throughout the country providing national coverage to a number of household name commercial entities as well as a large private client base.

The firm wishes to recruit a criminal duty solicitor with higher rights of audience to join an established, specialist team.

You will have excellent client care skills and have experience in preparing criminal defence cases and advising clients at police stations as well as both the Magistrates and Crown Court. You will be proficient in preparing and managing legal aid and private client criminal defence cases as well as be experienced in preparing appeals to higher Courts.

It is essential that you are both duty and police station accredited and it would be highly advantageous if you were to hold have higher rights of audience. You will be required to work with minimal supervision so the role provides a good deal of autonomy.

The firm is continuously growing and is looking for an equally ambitious, commercially minded and entrepreneurial solicitor to join the practice and assist in the firm's plans for growth so it would be particularly beneficial for those who are keen to either build or bring a client following, particularly as you will hold the lead position within the firms' Evesham office and be required to undertake supervisory duties.
