The Opportunity;

Slater and Gordon wish to appoint an Associate to join our growing Family Law team in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious family lawyer to join us.

The successful candidate will be an experienced litigator able to assuming day-to-day carriage of complex, high value litigation. They will be a problem solver with great attention to detail who can conduct legal and financial due diligence on potential cases. They will also be a friendly and positive team player, willing to provide guidance and supervision to those around them.

Responsibilities of the role;

• Conducting high profile litigation
• Helping build the practice profile, manage key stakeholder relationships, and develop new projects for the business.
• Ensuring that financial targets are met in line with budget planning and forecasting.
• Training and coaching other team members in a growing practice.
• Complying with National Practice Standards

Requirements;

The successful candidate you will be an accomplished Solicitor who is able to demonstrate the following -

• Significant knowledge and experience in complex Family law
• An adaptable and solutions-oriented approach
• The ability to foster a positive team culture
• A desire to increase efficiency through technology and the use of processes and procedures
• The ability to successfully manage an individual billing target
• Experience of working to key performance indicators
• A willingness to actively drive and encourage cross referrals
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of working as part of a Management Team
